In Over Our Heads, Again!
What do you get when you mix arrogance with anxiety? You get the CIA.
Intelligence is the single most crucial ingredient for any hope of victory in war. That is especially true when the war involves an insurgency. Without the proper utility of the many languages that encompass the Area of Responsibility we are "up a creek".
What is worse is the lack of understanding we have with the people of Central Asia. Along with the inability to strike at will into the heart of the enemy bases.
These were the exact same problems we faced in Nam.
