Own Worst Enemy

The US truly is its own worst enemy in that it continuously "cuts its nose off to spite its face", as the old adage goes. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that the odds are excellent that we will need an up-to-date military when the feces makes contact with the perpetually moving propeller blades that are any number of future calamities that will cause massive unrest among countries with serious military capabilities.
At the rate we are going with such flagrant waste of military expenditures by the time our military will be truly needed for our real security.....
Well, lets hope our Second Amendment holds up!
